Once you’ve landed into San Jose, we’ll whisk you away to the Central Volcanic Valley, where you’ll be staying for three nights in a luxury suite at the beautiful El Silencio Lodge & Spa. Set amidst 500 acres of tropical rainforest, the spiritual retreat is perfect for yoga and meditation. Head to the Esencia Spa for a sumptuous body wrap or facial, and dine on fresh, locally-inspired cuisine at the hotel restaurant, which uses organic herbs and produce from their own private vegetable garden. We’ll transfer you to the cossetting hotel for three nights of beautiful interiors, superb cuisine and unparalleled views of the iconic Arenal Volcano. Considered the adventure capital of Costa Rica, Arenal offers an array of fantastic activities and the hotel is a great base for hiking the foothills of the active volcano and for horse riding to the nearby thundering waterfalls. Go zip-lining, white water rafting and mountain biking or tone the adrenaline down with a guided tour of the native flora and fauna. As it is your honeymoon, consider a private romantic dinner for just the two of you after spending your morning listening to the birds from your plunge pool as you sip on freshly ground coffee and your afternoon in the spa, making use of the long list of soothing treatments.

We’ll take you to Flor Blanca, set on the tip of the Nicoya Peninsula, enveloped by the jungle and on one of Costa Rica’s best surfing beaches. Here the daily grind only gets as tough as deciding between horse-riding on the beach at sunset or listening to the sounds of the forest’s wildlife as you swing in the hammock outside your villa.  Start your days on a high with an open-air, oceanfront yoga class before an organic, seasonal breakfast; then follow up with a massage or scrub in the spa’s bamboo treatment rooms. If you’re craving an adrenalin rush, zip-line above the jungle canopy, take part in some stand-up paddle boarding or try your hand at surfing the waves.

From the Pacific coast, you’ll be taken to the tropical paradise, Finca Rosa Blanca, for your final night. Although only 20 minutes away from the international airport, the hidden gem is a destination in itself; the colourful façades of individual villas peep out amidst exotic flora and lush jungle. The restaurant serves up delicious home-grown produce where you can dine al fresco overlooking the Central Valley and the twinkling lights of the capital, San Jose.
