On the banks of the Kabini River, which winds its way between Nagarhole and Bandipur National Parks, the hotel is surrounded by natural beauty, which is reflected in the rustic wood and stone aesthetic of the hotel.

Rooms at Evolve Back Kuruba Safari Lodge, Kabini

The hotel's villa accommodations combine a rustic aesthetic with luxurious comfort, with pleasingly uneven adobe walls, wooden beams and posts, and exposed thatch in the ceilings. The look and feel of the villas reflects the rugged beauty of their surroundings, which you can enjoy in privacy from your own private courtyard. You have the choice of Pool Huts or Jacuzzi Huts, with both having private pools, but the latter slightly smaller.

Food & drink

The hotel’s restaurant, Honey Comb, offers delicious regional, Indian and international cuisine in an informal buffet setting overlooking the River Kabini. Carnivores will love the Karuba Grill, where kebabs and grilled meats are served up overlooking the water. A range of intimate ‘Romance for Two’ dining experiences are available, including an unforgettable candle-lit river cruise on a traditional wooden boat. Your own personal chef will prepare an exquisite five-course meal, served with delicious wine by your own butler, as you float along the serene waters of the Kabini.

Facilities

Overlooking the lake is a gorgeous infinity pool, the perfect place to relax after a day exploring and wildlife-watching. There’s also a spa which draws on the ancient tradition of Ayurveda to provide a range of healing treatments, and a beautiful reading room where you can curl up with a good book and watch the sun go down over the lake. Kids are well catered for, and there’s a Children’s Activity Centre with board games, puzzles and arts and crafts.
