Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Raffles Seychelles sits on the coast of Anse Takamaka on the beautiful island of Praslin.

Rooms at Raffles Seychelles

The spacious and inviting villas each have their own private plunge pool and an outdoor pavilion with sundeck beds, ideal for soaking up the incredible views over the gardens, the Indian Ocean, the white sandy beaches and the lush green hills. (If the views inspire your inner artist, there’s an easel and paper set up ready for you).

Food & Drink

Dine on the best of Seychellois cuisine alongside dishes from around the world. Curieuse offers pan-Asian specialities, while Losean’s menu features delicious Mediterranean cuisine with a Creole twist. In the evening, head to the terrace to enjoy a Praslin Sling (the Seychellois take on the Singapore Sling), as the sun sets and the sky fills with stars.

Facilities

There are two infinity pools, and if you are looking for a complete wind down, we highly recommend the Raffles Spa, which is probably the largest spa in the Seychelles! Nestled in lush, tropical gardens, this serene retreat offers a range of pampering treatments - try the signature massage, which fuses Thai, Balinese and Eastern traditions.

Activities at Raffles Seychelles

Where to start? Just a short walk away is Anse Lazio, regularly voted one of the best beaches in the world, which also has a sheltered reef that’s a good spot for snorkelling. A mere 15-minute boat ride will take you to La Digue, an island full of beautiful, secluded beaches perfect for relaxing on - or for something more active, take a cycling tour around the island.

You also shouldn’t miss a visit the Vallee de Mai in the heart of the island, a UNESCO World Heritage Site that’s home to a natural palm forest where the famous coco de mer grows, as well as unique wildlife such as the Seychelles bronze gecko. Speaking of unique wildlife, see giant tortoises on the nearby island of Curieuse - there is a population of nearly 500 here.

If you have children in tow, the Sugar Palm kids club will keep them entertained, with activities from crab hunting and Creole fishing to kayaking in the aquamarine waters and hiking around the many scenic trails.
