Bey Evi is nestled on a cobbled Alacati street, a 15 minute stroll from the town centre.

The 15 light and airy rooms have whitewashed walls, antique furniture and sumptuous beds to sink into. The muted colour palette is brought to life with an injection of vivid turquoise, terracotta or mustard. The outdoor restaurant is an idyllic spot: vines drape over the pergola, beneath which you’ll be dining on freshly baked pizza, traditional Turkish pitas, or a lavish breakfast of cheese, honey, fruit and omelette. The owners are passionate about their home-made jams and liquors, which you absolutely must try.

The hotel's lovely swimming pool is an oasis in the sweltering summer months, with white sun loungers and parasols dotted around it.

Alacati is a good base for setting off to Ephesus, the astonishing ancient Greek ruins located 2 hours from here. If you’d prefer to stay local, there’s no shortage of restaurants, cafes, boutiques and markets to discover in Alacati village. For keen windsurfers and kitesurfers, the almost-enclosed bay of Alacati is ideal for the sport with its excellent wind conditions and calm waters.
