Pine Bay Lodge

Pine Bay Lodge is located on the coastal edge of the Lulea archipelago by the frozen sea, 30 minutes from Lulea, and is ideal for experiencing the Northern Lights and exploring the stunning surrounding landscapes.

The lodge's five double rooms and four single rooms have a homely, traditional feel. For families, there is also a separate family cabin to the side of the lodge, with two double rooms and one single room, offering plenty of space.

The upper-floor restaurant serves delicious Scandinavian cuisine as well as lovely bay views, from breakfasts to buffet dinners with tempting options that make the most of local and international cuisine, featuring local ingredients from wild game to freshly-caught fish. You can also opt for self-catering if you wish.

In the centre of the lodge there is a large dining and lounge room with a big fireplace for you to spend the evenings at. Relax in the sauna after an adventurous day or head to the lounge and watch out for the Northern Lights to appear.

There are plenty of ways to discover the Northern Lights – enjoy a walk or a guided tour, or head out on a snowmobile with an expert guide who will tell you all about this natural phenomenon as you watch them in the night skies.

The Northern Lights may be the star of the show, but there is plenty more on offer too, from meeting reindeers and seals to island-hopping boat trips and dog-sledding adventures, with year-round activities on offer - summer is great for sailing and experiencing the Midnight Sun.
