When to go to Sweden
The winter is the best time to visit Sweden to see the Northern Lights, particularly in between November and March.
Between mid-December and mid-January, regions north of the Arctic Circle are plunged into constant, 24-hour darkness.
By contrast, in the height of summer, nowhere in Sweden gets dark for long, and between May and June in the far north you can experience 24 hours of daylight and the midnight sun.
