Hotel Overview

Sense of place

Villa Marina Capri has a prime position perched above Marina Grande, Capri’s main harbour. It sits on a quiet hillside, with palm trees dotted throughout the grounds, the rugged cliffs of Capri’s interior on one side, and the deep blue of the Tyrrhenian Sea on the other.

Rooms at Villa Marina Capri

Villa Marina’s 22 rooms and suites have an eye-catching design, with a largely traditional look offset by striking modern art pieces. They have a tasteful colour scheme of white, cream and muted gold tones, with splashes of colour provided by wall art depicting stylised coral, flowers and other nature motifs. Each room opens onto a balcony or terrace, overlooking either the hotel’s pretty gardens or the Tyrrhenian Sea. The opulent Pool Suites have their very own hydro massage pool overlooking the sea.

Food & drink

Start each day off right with a Mediterranean breakfast at the Pergola Terrace, with fresh fruit, pastries, bread and locally-produced spreads including wild honey - all accompanied, of course, by fine Italian coffee. Ziqu specialises in artfully-presented seafood overlooking the ocean - dishes include roasted octopus and grilled langoustine - while a superb range of cocktails is on offer at the Aria Lounge Bar. There’s also a bar beside the outdoor pool, so you won’t have to move too far from your deckchair to enjoy a drink.

Facilities

The Stai Spa offers a variety of wellness treatments, including massages, wraps and facial treatments, and you can relax in the sauna or Turkish bath, cool off in the infinity pool. There’s also a gym, so you don’t have to miss your workout.

Activities at Villa Marina Capri

The glamorous island of Capri is on your doorstep here, making it easy to discover this playground of the rich and famous. A boat tour on a classic yacht will see you exploring the famously beautiful coastline in style, while back on dry land you’ll find plenty of historic attractions which tell the story of Capri’s long history as a desirable destination. The Villa Jovis, for instance, was built by the Roman Emperor Tiberius around the time of Christ, while the Art Nouveau Villa Lysis was the home of French poet Jacques d’Adelsward-Fersen in the early 20th century.

Capri Town itself is an atmospheric place to people-watch, as the locals flit between designer boutiques and high-end restaurants.
