Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Palazzo Avino has a spectacular setting, perched high on the cliffs of Ravello overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the Mediterranean, and is 1,000ft above sea level.

Rooms at Palazzo Avino

The rooms and suites are beautiful inside and out: they come with stunning sea or mountain views and are decorated with antique furniture and handmade tiles, with soaring arches, gorgeous colours from sea blues to russet reds, and divine Bulgari amenities.

Going that one step further for comfort, Palazzo Avino offers guests a choice of some of the world’s finest bed linens - it's all about textures and colours, inspired by the land and sea, and Ravello's stunning Italian gardens.

We love the Belvedere suite, which has a terrace overlooking the sea and a private pool.

Food & Drink

Dine at the Michelin-starred Rossellini's restaurant, one of Italy’s finest (try the mozzarella done four ways!) or at Terrazza Belvedere for a delicious casual meal overlooking the sensational coast. For a special occasion, enjoy a romantic candlelit dinner for two. During the evenings, cocktails and snacks are served at the bar.

Facilities

We love the pool, set in verdant tiered gardens, and the striking sea views from the rooftop terrace, complete with Jacuzzis.

As well as the vistas from this hilltop location, at Palazzo Avino you can enjoy the best of worlds with their Clubhouse by the Sea. Open from May to October (depending on the weather), it is just 15 minutes away by shuttle bus, and with a restaurant with pizza oven, a small pool and sunbathing platforms by the sea, it's the perfect place to spend a day down by the water's edge.

Activities at Palazzo Avino

What could be more glamorous than cruising around the mesmerising Amalfi coastline, and stopping off at Capri and Positano for some designer shopping? Simpler pleasures include sitting in Ravello's main square with the locals, or wandering amongst beautiful lemon groves in the gardens. If you've been inspired by the sumptuous Italian cuisine, you can take a cooking lesson in a private cliffside home.
