Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Daios Cove overlooks the glistening Aegean Sea in north-eastern Crete.

Rooms at Daios Cove

The rooms, suites and villas are spacious and feature king-sized beds, marble-lined bathrooms and a neutral colour palette. Large floor-to-ceiling windows and sliding glass doors opening out to a balcony or terrace allow natural light to come flooding in.

Ideal for families, the villas all come with private pools and sunbeds on their terraces where you can dine al fresco.

For larger groups, The Mansion is an expansive three-bedroom home set in the hillside and is the largest of the villas. Opt for a suite or villa and be part of the exclusive Residents' Club and enjoy a premium all-inclusive stay.

Food & Drink

You will be spoilt for choice when it comes to dining at Daios Cove. Try local Cretan and Greek cuisine at the Taverna, or dine on Mediterranean and Asian flavours in a secluded area of the beach at The Beach House. Putting a modern twist on Mediterranean dishes, the Ocean restaurant looks out over the pool and sea - start your day with breakfast here if you are staying in a suite or villa.

In the main building, try meat and fish cooked over a natural wood fire at Pangea, which offers a more casual indoor dining option overlooking the Aegean, and creates delicious plates for vegans and vegetarians. Throughout the day, light snacks and bites can be enjoyed at the poolside Ocean Bar, as well as colourful masterfully-crafted cocktails at Crystal Box and the Beach Bar.

Facilities

The resort has its own private cove with a sandy beach, and there's also a saltwater infinity pool. For even more relaxation and tranquillity, the state-of-the-art spa offers personalised treatments with essential oils inspired by ancient Greek traditions. There is also a gym and two tennis courts.

Daios Cove is great for families, with a dedicated section of the pool for children, and the sea below in the cove is shallow and calm and ideal for children to enjoy themselves and play. When it comes to dining, all of the restaurants have children's menus too.

Activities at Daios Cove

Discover Crete's hidden gems with a Land Rover tour, explore from the sea on a catamaran, or try out a number of water sports. The coastline is never-ending and the beaches are perfect for taking long scenic walks.
