Regions in Cyprus

There is plenty to explore in Cyprus with ancient archaeological treasures dotted across the island and charming traditional villages that bask in the sunshine. On your trip to Cyrpus make sure you visit the lively town of Paphos, the birthplace of Aphrodite, and walk along the picturesque trails around Polis:

Nestled on the serene shores of the Mediterranean, North Cyprus boasts pristine beaches, crystal-clear waters, and a sun-drenched climate year-round. With a backdrop of rugged mountains and picturesque villages, North Cyprus offers a tranquil escape for nature lovers and adventure seekers alike.
The lively town of Paphos, the birthplace of Aphrodite, is nestled between the Cypriot coast and the Troodos Mountains. Take a journey through time, exploring fourth century tombs, the Paphos Fort and ruins of Roman villas ornately decorated with mosaics. With the Agios Neophytos Monastery only a short hop away, just outside the traditional village of Tala, and the pretty village and beach of Pissouri just up the coast, Paphos is fantastic for those looking to discover the ancient heart of Cyprus.
The main streets of Polis offer plenty of traditional Cypriot restaurants, though the town is much more low-key than it’s more vibrant neighbour, Paphos. Explore its markets and dip in and out of its selection of shops as you amble its tranquil streets. Located on Chrysochous Bay, quiet Polis offers easy access to the beautiful Akamas peninsula nature reserve.
Dating back to ancient Greek times, Limassol is a city on the southern coast of Cyprus, known for its wealth of historical architecture and sites as well a popular seaside destination. Limassol merges the modern with the old: traditional architecture contrasts with the modern sea-facing promenade lined with palm trees and the state-of-the art marina with its luxurious yachts.
