Food and facilities

Awarded a Chef’s Hat every year for the last six years, Eleonore’s restaurant is understandably an excellent choice for fine dining. Daring flavour combinations and creative ingredients are complimented by wine from the historic cellar. The conservatory-style Sweetwater Cafe also serves gourmet breakfasts, lunch, light meals and freshly-baked cakes throughout the day. With their open log fires and homely furniture, the house’s cosy guest lounges are perfect places to read or meet with friends over a glass of wine. There’s also an outdoor pool and an on-site beauty room.

Activities at Chateau Yering

Thanks to its convenient location, there’s plenty to do at Chateau Yering. Go hot air ballooning for incredible views of the Yarra Valley, or explore the surrounding area by mountain bike or horseback. The Valley is also Victoria’s premier wine region, so winery tours are a must on your to-do list.
