Southern Beaches & Islands

Vietnam’s long sandy beaches and shimmering waters offer a serene foil to its bustling cities and unexplored countryside, contributing to its status as an amazing all-in-one holiday destination. These islands, scattered on both sides of the south coast, are some of the most beautiful beach resorts in Vietnam.

Nha Trang

Nha Trang oozes laidback vibes and alongside an incredible complex of Hindu temples, is the perfect spot to enjoy the beautiful coast, either on its pretty stretch of sand or with a boat trip to enjoy the region’s superb diving. Nha Trang also has a buzzing nightlife and a fantastic food scene.

Ninh Van Bay

Not far from Nha Trang, Ninh Van Bay is a crescent-shaped beach lapped by flawless turquoise waters that is the ultimate in seaside seclusion. Six Senses Hideaway Ninh Van Bay is a luxurious collection of thatched huts, reachable only by boat. This is the place to live the life aquatic, with windsurfing, snorkelling, and diving all on offer; alternatively, simply relax and catch some rays on the sand.

Phu Quoc

A little bit sleepier is the peaceful island of Phu Quoc, which sits off the Cambodian coast in the Gulf of Thailand. Sure to impress with its glut of picturesque beaches and tropical jungle and still largely undeveloped, its coral reefs are a pristine pleasure to explore, its back roads ideal for bikers, and its fresh seafood a treat for foodies.

Con Dao

An archipelago of sixteen stunning islands, Con Dao is the country’s diving hotspot and its rugged hills are prime territory for hiking and wildlife. Most of its land mass forms the Con Dao National Park, which protects sea turtle nesting grounds. Once the site of a notorious prison, today Con Dao is renowned for its natural beauty and diverse wildlife, which includes the iconic dugong.
