Hotel Overview

Sense of place

There are various cruises on the Chindwin and Irrawaddy rivers and Pandaw has a variety of boat types and cruise routes available.

Rooms on board RV Zawgyi Pandaw

There are ten sleek and spacious staterooms on the main and upper decks, featuring comfortable beds, teak and brass interiors and panoramic sliding windows. There are no TVs – the emphasis is on relaxation and seclusion, and getting away from it all in style.

Food & Drink

The onboard chefs offer a range of delicious local and international cuisine, including personalised meal services, from buffet-style breakfasts in the morning to complimentary canapés and cocktails in the evening. There are also themed dinners with traditional dishes and costumes, and in the dry season, you can enjoy a barbecue beach party on a sandbank.

Facilities

Unwind on the vast promenade decks and take in the gorgeous views of the Burmese landscape. To allow you to appreciate the views from your suite and for your comfort, the windows on board can be opened (other than the ones on the lower deck), unlike most other cruise ships.

Activities onboard RV Zawgyi Pandaw

Onboard activities include cooking and fruit carving demonstrations and themed movie nights, as well as cultural performances such as marionette theatre shows. The boat will leisurely sail past spectacular scenery, including temples, mountain peaks, lush green valleys and riverside villages. There are plenty of quiet spots onboard where you can relax and take in the views, including wraparound promenade decks. There are also guided treks ashore, including to temples and rural villages where you can meet the locals, as well as visits to local markets with the chefs, and mountain bikes are available for exploring the beautiful surroundings.
