Aesthetes and art lovers will absolutely adore Ngapali Bay, which was designed by interior designer U Kyaw Sein and British architect David Wordsworth and is made up of beautiful huts with sweeping ocean views. The luxurious, dark wood rooms feature copper basins, thatch roofing modelled after the traditional village building tradition, custom-made handwoven curtains from Pakokku, paintings by one of Myanmar's most famous artists, U Kin Maung Yin, antique and contemporary pottery, and bronze works from Mandalay.

Fresh seafood is the order of the day at Ngapali Bay, with fruits de mer delivered straight to your plate at the elegant Tamarind restaurant.
