Hwange National Park

Zimbabwe’s largest and most popular national park, Hwange’s fourteen thousand square kilometres are home to a wide array of game, including buffalo, lion, giraffe, and wildebeest – the park’s elephant population is one of the largest in the world.

The landscapes are no less diverse than the animals which roam them, ranging from basalt lava flows to grassy pans, and the Gwabadzabuya River in the south of the park.

Get up close and personal with the park’s inhabitants at Camelthorn Lodge, sleep beneath the stars at The Hide, or get to know some local culture and history at Bomani Tented Lodge by visiting a local village.
