The tents are contemporary, with large mosquito-netted beds, and are furnished to complement the style and setting of the camp.

All tents have private bathrooms with a traditional 'bush shower' and an eco-friendly toilet, and private verandas offering views of the river.

Food & Drink

Meals are arranged around guests’ daily schedules, with a warming breakfast waiting for guests returning from early morning game drives. Filling and hearty multi-course meals are served during the day, created with fresh local ingredients, and tea and coffee is provided in the tented lounge area daily, and can be delivered to your room in the morning, accompanying the morning sounds of the wildlife and birds around you.

Dining in the evening is an unforgettable experience, with guests choosing to dine either by the river or at the main camp area, where the wild views will just as be appealing as the food.

Relax after a long day in the bar, or share your stories with fellow travellers in the spacious thatched lounge.

Activities at Ishasha Wilderness Camp

The main highlight of your stay at the camp will be the early morning and late afternoon game drives in open safari vehicles with your experienced guide in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You may spot a tree-climbing lion - famed in the region. They climb up into the shade of the trees to escape the heat, snoozing in the branches.

Around the camp, see colobus and vervet monkeys, and a wide variety of birds.
