Lake Mburo National Park


Upon arrival in Entebbe your driver will be waiting to greet you and take you down to Lake Mburo National Park, stopping along the way as you cross over the equator, where you'll check in to your hotel for the night, Mihingo Lodge. If this is your first taste of Africa, the first sightings of big game in the wild never cease to delight. Hop into the swimming pool, gaze out over the plains and waterhole below, and fall asleep in your luxury tent to the sound of birdsong.

Gorilla Trekking, Uganda


Wave goodbye to the hippos and birds of Lake Mburo and head southwards to Bwindi, home of some of the world’s last mountain gorillas. You’ll pass through lush countryside, bursting with banana palms, papaya plants and scuttling herds of goats. When you reach Bwindi, you’ll spend two nights here at Gorilla Forest Camp or Bwindi Lodge.
