Rooms at The Emakoko

An open, airy and informal environment has been created to allow our guests to escape from the pressures of everyday life. The beautifully appointed rooms look out over the game park so one can fall asleep to the sounds of Africa, a lion roaring or the cry of a lone hyena, an amazing contrast to the sounds of traffic, ambulances, fire engines and dogs barking which are the normal sounds of any sleeping city. There are five rooms on the same level as the main areas and a further five rooms with the most spectacular views positioned on top of the cliff, overlooking the valley.

Food and Facilities

The Emakoko is always aiming to have the best food in Nairobi and have an excellent team in the kitchen who do their very best to provide you with imaginative and appetising meals. Being next to Nairobi has its advantages and means that you can be sure that every meal is made of the freshest ingredients. Guests here have the option of dining on their verandas which is always a great option if you have one of the rooms up on the cliff face.

Activities at The Emakoko

There is a very wide variety of things to do during your stay at the Emakoko as Nairobi is on your doorstep. Of course, there is the Nairobi National Park where you can go on game drives and with such a high density of game you are likely to have some great sightings. If you want a different scene then you can take a short trip into Nairobi and visit some of the markets with all their arts and crafts on display.
