Hotel Overview

Where

Kicheche Bush Camp is located in the Olare Motorogi Conservancy bordering the Mara reserve, in south-western Kenya

Rooms at Kicheche Bush Camp

Six spacious luxury tents, fully insect-proof, with en-suite bathrooms and hot safari showers. Solar power is provided 24 hours to your tent and the comfortable verandah chairs are perfect to relax in and offer great views over the game-filled plains. One tent can be converted into a triple on request. There is a well furnished lounge and dining tent, although mealtimes are generally alfresco if weather permits.

Food and Facilities

The food at Kicheche Bush Camp is considered to be a cut above its other competing camps. It is nicely varied so that you will be looking forward to what they will serve up next. Picnic breakfasts when you are out on your gamedrive is a great way to start the day, followed by a cold buffet for lunch with delicious homemade fresh bread. Dinner is no exception to the high quality standards and will be an entertaining affair as you dine with your fellow guests.

Activities at Kicheche Bush Camp

As the camp is in a conservancy and not the Mara reserve there are no restrictions on the timings of your game drives. There is however a restriction on the number of vehicles allowed in the conservancy so you will have more exclusive game viewing. If you stay for three nights then a full day trip into the Mara reserve is included so you will get the chance to see a wildebeest crossing of the Mara river, an unforgettable event that will leave you wanting to come back and see it all again.
