Itinerary details

3 nightsCHYULUS

After arriving into Nairobi, you will hop on a light aircraft to the Chyulus, where your adventure begins on the lush, green, rolling hills tucked underneath Mt Kilimanjaro, spending two or three days snoozing under vast African skies at Ol Donyo Lodge. If you’re feeling energetic, take the lodge’s horses out and race a herd of zebra over the grassland. Exsus top tip: ask to go out to the elephant hide to stand just a few feet from these truly magnificent creatures and appreciate how large they really are!

3 nightsLAIKIPIA PLATEAU

Hop north to the wilds of the Laikipia Plateau, where you’ll meet your camel train and warrior guides from Karisia who take you on a journey through Northern Kenya. Each day you’ll wander on foot through the bush, listening for the quiet footfall of a herd of elephant, and the tinkle of Masai cowbells. Dig your toes deep into the dust, break your journey for riverside picnics, and climb rocky kopjes to watch the sun set into the acacia thorns.

3 nightsMERU NATIONAL PARK

Finally, no Kenyan adventure would be truly complete without a top notch safari. Fly to Meru National Park, where the 13 permanent rivers ensure game viewing is fabulous year-round. Soak away the dust of your walk in the pool at Elsa’s Kopje while the sun sets over the park. Watch prides of lion stalk buffalo through the bushes, elephants drinking from the river at dusk, and keep your eyes peeled for rhino.

At the end of your stay, bid farewell to the bush, and fly back to Nairobi for your flight home.
