Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The Qorokwe Concession sprawls over almost 65,000 acres of the Okavango Delta, on the border of Moremi Game Reserve, a region of unspoilt wilderness, from woodland to floodplains, that is dense in wildlife. The camp sits in the heart of Qorokwe, and is strung out along a picturesque lagoon - enjoy the vistas from the terrace.

Rooms at Qorokwe Camp

Accommodation at Qorokwe Camp takes the form of eight luxurious tented suites, which combine the comfort of a hotel with the adventure of staying in the wilderness. The stylish interiors feature plush beds, comfortable sofas and woven chairs, with bold African textiles on display in the rugs and cushions. You can gaze out at the reserve without even leaving the comfort of your bed, while the suites have separate living areas and ensuite bathrooms, which also look out over the reserve. In addition to the tented suites, there is one generously-sized family unit, which has its own splash pool.

Food & Drink

From your tented suite, raised wooden walkways lead the way to the camp’s communal areas, where breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the dining room overlooking the lagoon. Given the camp’s remote location, the quality and variety of food on offer is fantastic, with an ever-changing gourmet menu of international dishes served throughout the day, accompanied by a range of wine and other drinks from across the world.

Facilities

In addition to the dining room, communal areas in the camp include a comfortable lounge, a peaceful library and a bar - which are built on raised platforms and offer panoramic views - meaning there’s a range of options to choose from when it comes to relaxing in the evening after heading out on safari.

Activities at Qorokwe Camp

The main attraction at Qorokwe Camp, needless to say, is the wildlife which roams the reserve, and the opportunity to spot a wide variety of local inhabitants on daily game drives. An African safari is high on many people’s bucket lists, and Qorokwe offers the quintessential wildlife experience. The creatures that live here include lions, giraffes, elephants, zebras and buffaloes, among other iconic African wildlife. Guided walks are also available depending on the season, as are boat trips in a traditional mokoro - these also offer fantastic ways to experience the beautiful landscapes and their wildlife.
