If you want to walk the Inca Trail you can do the traditional 3/4-night trail or take a one-day walk option. Both require permits that are booked months in advance, book early and sort out a stay here at the end.  Also, be sure to visit the Inkaterra Machu Picchu Spectacled Bear Project.
