The village of Praia do Forte is not big on its nightlife but there are a couple of restaurants and cafés to enjoy as well as a few bars for the evenings.
Humpback whales appear around the coast of Praia do Forte from July to October, whilst marine turtles lay their eggs from September to February. From December to March tiny turtles hatch at the Projecto Tamar so there is something to see all year-round!
