Great in combination with Rio de Janeiro, Casa Cairucu is perfect for families, groups of friends and honeymooners looking for something utterly unique and unforgettable.
Casa Carucu is located just a short boat ride from the harbour in Paraty, Brazil, and a four hour drive from either Rio de Janeiro or Sao Paulo.
Built in 2010, Casa Cairucu has a modern, clean feel which certainly makes the most of the sea views. The house has three double en suite rooms that face the sea and a further single room on the other side of the house with a bathroom next door, all with ceiling fans (and sea breeze as standard).
There is a daily maid service provided each morning to prepare breakfast, wash clothes and tidy the house. The house has a fully equipped kitchen with fridge freezer, Sky TV, DVD player, a small library of books and wireless internet. Though Casa Cairucu is self-catering (your stay includes a food shopping service) we can arrange a professional chef to raise the indulgence level up a notch or two. There is also a boat at the house to use at your disposal.
The beautiful town of Paraty is close and its profusion of beautiful churches, boutique shops and bars and restaurants wait to be explored. Take a boat trip from the house to explore the bay - tour the remote islands and experience the local snorkelling spots and tucked-away restaurants that lie off the coast. Back at the house there are fishing rods, two double kayaks and a foot path to access the stunning nearby beaches.
Don’t miss visiting the nearby fjord of Saco de Mamangua or for those feeling a bit more energetic, take a climb up to the Pao de Asucar peak for some seriously majestic views.
