Hike to the glacier at the base of the Lanin volcano, or walk to the Chilean border, or nearer at hand, weird and wonderful landscapes like a petrified lava river and the bonsai forest. Birders are well catered for with over 1000 species present in the area around the hotel. Horse riding, fly fishing, canoeing on the lake in summer and cross-country skiing in winter are also available.
