The eight rooms with private bathrooms (some with whirlpool baths) are well decorated with simple, rustic features and warm earthy tones. The beds have been described as the most comfortable in Patagonia!

Helsingfors has its own vegetable garden and a refined cellar with a variety of Argentine and Chilean selected vintage wines that accompany a menu of sophisticated regional cuisine, including typical local dishes such as slow-cooked Patagonian lamb or grilled trout. Guests share their experiences around a large fireplace in the living area or while enjoying a drink at the bar.

Tours with a bilingual guide are the main activity here, and include trips to Glaciar Viedma, trekking in the mountains, trout fishing and horseback riding along the endless beaches of Lago Viedma.
