Anyone looking to explore the Galapagos Islands, with the opportunity to learn about the art of sailing.
Embarks from Baltra Island, Galapagos.
There are ten air-conditioned cabins aboard SY Sagitta, sleeping up to 16 passengers. Each cabin is fresh and simple, with nautical details that continue the romance of being at sea. There’s also an en suite, with a shower to wash the perfect white sand from between your toes.
Fresh, delicious Ecuadorian and international dishes are served in the roomy dining area which has large windows to enjoy the ever-changing seascape. On sunny days you can eat alfresco on the deck, and chat with the friendly crew.
There are three packed itineraries to choose from on SY Sagitta. As well as learning about conservation projects from the qualified naturalist guide, you’ll interact with the weird and wonderful creatures of the Galapagos: swimming with penguins, observing Flamingo courtship performances, and dodging Sally Lightfoot Crabs as they scuttle over the sand. Two double kayaks and snorkeling equipment are also available.
Ask the crew on SY Sagitta about meeting Lonesome George: the giant tortoise who is believed to be the last surviving member of his sub-species.
