Wildlife lovers, adventurous couples and during school holidays, families.
The Galapagos Islands, 604 miles off the west coast of Ecuador.
Eclipse accommodates up to 48 passengers. There are 27 spacious, air-conditioned cabins with sea views. The Deluxe and Superior Staterooms on the Boat Deck have picture windows whilst the Staterooms on the Main Deck have portholes. Although the Eclipse is a relatively large vessel, it maintains the atmosphere and exclusivity of a smaller yacht with only half the number of cabins usual for a vessel of that size.
If the sun is shining, dine alfresco by the Jacuzzi or at night in the dining room. Enjoy drinks at one of the two bars, either inside or out. There is a large wooden sun deck with comfortable loungers, the ideal place for stargazing, whale watching or relaxing in the Jacuzzi. After a day exploring the islands, relax in the well-stocked library. For water lovers, snorkelling equipment and wet suits are available for use.
Eclipse anchors at two visitor spots a day and offers a variety of excursions from lava treks, hikes and bird watching to swimming, kayaking and snorkelling with sea lions. Each day you can walk with a naturalist guide through the National Park, following trails, whilst the guide explains the flora and fauna.
Take the whole family to the Galapagos, the children will love it! Eclipse offers selected family departures in March, April, July, August and December with a minimum age of five years. On non-family departures, children are accepted from the age of 10.
