Hacienda de San Antonio is set at the foot of an active volcano in lush countryside about 45 minutes from Colima or two and a half hours from Guadalajara in Mexico’s Western Highlands. Both Colima and Guadalajara are accessed by flights from Mexico City.

The handsome colonial town of Colima is well worth a visit, with its plaza flanked with restaurants and craft shops (the town its known for its furniture and iron work).
