Xandari Plantation’s 23 spacious villas are each individually designed, bristling with artworks and decorated in gloriously vibrant colours. All villas have private garden terraces and panoramic views of the valleys and rainforests. The rooms are deliberately missing televisions to ensure maximum peace and tranquility.
Our indoor/outdoor restaurant features a healthy continental and Costa Rican menu. Many of the fruits and vegetables are from our own organic greenhouse, orchard and gardens. You can explore the four kilometers of private scenic trails to visit the hotel’s orchid farm and greenhouse. Perched on the hillside is Xandari Spa Village, complete with an open-air Jacuzzi overlooking the Central Valley.
When you’ve finished exploring the hotel’s own gardens, they can organize trips further afield to the nearby Poas Volcano or Carara National Park. You can also go river rafting, swing through the rainforest canopy, tour a coffee processing plant or enjoy a round of golf.
To leave your own permanent mark on the forest, you can plant a tree. Xandari provides a tree, the know-how and location – and an individual, couple, family or group plants it. A marker by the tree is a lasting reminder your presence and you can return and visit your tree in future years!
