Kanuhura is located in a remote atoll in the Maldives, 40 minutes by seaplane from Male airport.

The Veli Café takes the most romantic spot on the island however our favourite has to be the champagne dinner under the stars on Jehunuhura, a deserted island, just minutes from Kanuhura. Facilities include the Asian inspired Veyoge Spa (it wouldn’t be the Maldives without a fabulous spa) and for the young ones, a complimentary kid’s club is available for children aged from two to eleven.
There is an abundance of activities to choose from - a large fresh water swimming pool, beach volley, two floodlit tennis courts, an air-conditioned squash court, table tennis and games room – and that’s just on land. On the water there are speedboats rentals, canoes, water-skis, kneeboards and catamarans available to guests. Who said the Maldives was just about lying on the beach? The snorkelling is superb and scuba divers have a choice of 40 excellent dive sites from the Sun Dive Centre.
The beaches in the Maldives are sensational and in our opinion Kanuhura wins the award for “best beach in the Maldives.” The spectacular sandy beach has no rocks, crystal clear turquoise water and is not to shallow and not too deep.
