Jamaica

Rivers and waterfalls rush through jungle-clad mountains and forests to miles of sandy beaches, where huts sell lip-smaking ackee and saltfish to reggae beats. Jamaica has huge personality and something to appeal to everybody from hip hangouts to luxury family beach resorts and some of our favourite five star, boutique hotels. This large island is perfect for those with itchy feet as you can easily combine two or three different areas to exlore all that Jamaica has to offer. Flights from the UK are direct into both Kingston and Montego Bay.

Back to Jamaica hotels

Montego Bay

Jamaica’s most vibrant parish boasts five championship golf courses (with breathtaking views), the historic town of Falmouth and the beautiful Great River, best appreciated from a bamboo raft. Some of our favourite luxury family beach resorts are here, too. Round Hill Hotel & Villas is one of them!
Ocho Rios

Lush and tropical, the countryside outside Ocho Rios is known as the ‘garden parish’ and is well worth exploring, not least to see the spectacular Dunn’s River Falls. Then head back to the sea and to Dolphin Cove to swim with a family of bottle-nosed dolphins.

Blue Mountains

Hike through thick forest and coffee plantations alongside rushing streams and waterfalls in Jamaica’s famed mountain range.

Treasure Beach

Tourism is still fairly new to Jamaica’s southwest coast, lending it a laid-back atmosphere and undeveloped beaches. Treasure Beach, a secluded fishing village, is our pick of the bunch.

Negril

This is a place that has perfected the art of relaxation. Azure waters lapping white sandy beaches and craggy cliff faces encourage you to do little more than kick back and enjoy the fabulous sunsets. If you do get off the sunlounger, there’s great snorkelling and diving here, too. Take a look at The Caves.
