GoldenEye

Jamaica | Caribbean & Bermuda

No ordinary hotel, GoldenEye Jamaica offers a collection of luxurious private villas and beach cottages, set amidst 52 acres of lush tropical gardens. The original home of Ian Fleming, and the location in which he penned all 14 James Bond novels, GoldenEye opened its doors in December 2010 and is set well off the tourist trail: dramatic coastline, a beautiful beach, a glistening lagoon, all to yourself. Now that’s what we call luxury.

Rooms at GoldenEye

The newly built rooms at GoldenEye Jamaica comprise one and two bedroom beachfront cottages, all with full kitchens, wi-fi, flat screen TV’s and outdoor showers. If privacy is a must then choose one of the original villas tucked away in the tropical gardens. The Royal Villa, with its large terrace on the lagoon with its own private swim-up deck, is a real hideaway. For a family or large groups, book the The Fleming Villa: offering two cottages with three bedrooms, private swimming pool and a private beach, this is the ultimate James Bond experience.

Food and facilities

From exquisite international cuisine to local Jamaican style mac and cheese, ackee and saltfish, grilled corn and plenty of fresh fish, Goldeneye’s two excellent restaurants, The Gazebo and The Bizot Bar provide a huge selection of delicious dishes from which to choose.  At dusk, head to the west-facing Gazebo and enjoy views of fiery Caribbean sunsets.
