Couples and families dreaming of a wildlife packed Serengeti safari.
Deep in the heart of Maasailand on the north-eastern edge of the Serengeti, Tanzania.
Klein's Camp is made up of ten cosy round cottages built from local rock and thatch. This is one of the oldest lodges in the Serengeti, and today it retains the feel of days gone by. There are richly polished wooden floors, classic soft furnishings and water for the shower is warmed each evening by a roaring fire under the tank while you enjoy quiet drinks on your private veranda.
Climb the small hill behind the camp each evening, and enjoy immaculately prepared sun-downers at the top before heading for dinner. Mouth-watering meals wait for you in the lantern-lit dining room overlooking the valley below. After a long day on game drives, there’s a pool to cool off in and the chance to have a massage in the privacy of your room.
Klein’s Camp is not bound by the rules of the Serengeti, so guests can enjoy night drives in open-sided vehicles. Walks in the surrounding bush will lead you to breathtaking views over the Serengeti from the edge of the Kuka Hills. The camp benefits from being in the path of the annual Great Migration of hundreds of thousands of zebras and wildebeest, so prime game viewing here is extraordinary.
Keen photographers should consider booking a private safari vehicle for the ultimate in flexibility.
