Wilderness without the wild accommodation.
On a private game reserve near the Kruger National Park.
Royal Malewane has six gorgeous suites, with colonial style furniture transporting guests back to the Victorian era (with a few modern comforts thrown in too!) The rooms boast four poster beds, claw-footed bathtubs, indoor and outdoor showers and uninterrupted privacy to enjoy it all from. There are also two beautiful private suites (Royal and Malewane) which can sleep four people each and offer the ultimate in exclusivity including private dining, private game drives, and even the opportunity to arrive in your own helicopter.
Meals at Royal Malewane are usually eaten overlooking the waterhole, so there’s plenty to distract you from the delicious food. There’s also a good selection of South African wine on offer. Facilities are amongst the best the bush has to offer; there's a fabulous spa, a gym and an internet room, so despite the timeless location, 21st century amenities won’t pass you by.
Many of the staff have been at Royal Malewane since it opened, and it shows: the rangers here know the bush like the back of their hands. Guests have the opportunity to head out on morning and afternoon game drives, or simply bliss out in the gorgeous suites and spa.
This is a great option for Jewish guests; a kosher kitchen has recently opened at the lodge, making kosher eating hassle free (and delicious)!
