Wanderers jaded by city life.
Anywhere in the wilds of northern Kenya, from the lush hills of the Matthews Mountains to the dusty bush of Tumaren ranch.
This is back-to-basics adventure. You’ll have a comfy bed roll, a bowl of hot water in the mornings and a shower that looks up at the stars.
Although your food’s brought in by camel, and cooked over a crackling fire, don’t expect bog-standard grub. Meals are hearty and delicious- from hot porridge at breakfast, to tempting early evening sundowners.
Walking, camel riding and (in crocodile free areas) the odd dip in the river. Pause for sundowners on rocky kopjes, track elephant through the bush on foot, and take night drives out from your camp.
Karisia are pioneering mountain-biking safaris in Kenya. If walking’s too slow and bumping around in a safari vehicle’s not for you, we’d heartily recommend giving this a try.
