Those wishing to experience an authentic African safari in traditional 1920's style.
Situated on the eastern edge of the Masai Mara in an untouched exclusive concession bordering the Serengeti and Loliondo reserves. The area guarantees privacy and an abundance of wildlife.
Accommodating up to 22 guests, Cottars 1920's Camp has six authentic white canvas tents and four family tents. The tents incorporate original safari antiques from the 1920's with private en suite dressing rooms and bathrooms with claw foot tubs. Outside, sit on the private verandah and admire the views.
Dine by candlelight in old fashioned safari surroundings, while listening to the echo of old tunes from the camp’s antique gramophone. Cottars has a small shop and offers massage facilities at the camp.
Cottars is in a private concession, meaning you won’t bump into swarms of tourists on the two daily game drives. Guided bush walks and bush meals, daily sundowners, cultural visits, and line fishing are also available to guests.
Ask your butler to draw you a bush bath. Sip champagne from your tub and enjoy the sun setting over the Masai Mara – not to be missed!
