There are just 17 beautifully decorated rooms and suites at Jnane Tamsna, created using natural materials and traditional techniques with hand crafted furniture from Africa, the Orient and Europe.  The main house, Jnane House has 10 bedrooms built around a traditional Riad courtyard.  There are four additional villas with African inspired rooms and suites including  the newest addition, Jnane Salmia.  The villa has five en-suite rooms and an elegant swimming pool situated in its own private Mediterranean garden.

Food & facilities

The fruit and vegetables grown in the organic garden are used to create the superb Mediterannean/Moroccan cuisine that Jnane Tamsna offers.  The Jnane restaurant has a spacious veranda that overlooks the lush gardens. A newly opened outdoor lounge at Jnane Tamsna offers tapas and cocktails.  The hotel has five swimming pools, yoga classes, a clay tennis court and a spa with traditional hammam.

Perfect for exploring, the luscious nine-hectare garden is bursting with orange and olive trees, bougainvillaea, vegetables, Moroccan herbs and spices.  Popular cooking classes take place at Jnane Tamsna, making use of the garden’s fresh produce alongside Moroccan wine tasting.  For children, there is bundles to keep them entertained including a Plant Scavenger Hunt, Garden to Table class and a Herbal Body Care class where both children and adults make lip balms, face oils, lotions and spritzers. Golf and horse riding can also be organised nearby.
