We’re sure Cupid hides out here as Santorini is often named the most romantic island in the world, perfect for all love-birds.
Grace Santorini is set on the hillside in the peaceful village of Imerovigli, on Santorini's North West coast, 300 meters above the Caldera facing Skaros rock, renowned for its Venetian castle ruins. Grace Santorini is just 8kms from the airport and 10kms from the port.
There are just 20 stylish, light and airy rooms and suites, staggered up the cliffside, to ensure exceptional views of the glistening Aegean Sea. Each has a spacious en-suite bathroom with oversized showers, sweet smelling bath amenities and cosy bathrobes. Additional perks to the room are the Wi-fi and Ipod speakers. The Suites also feature perfectly positioned private plunge pools and the Grace Suite features a hammam steam bath, terrace and an indoor and outdoor plunge pool.
Start your day with a champagne breakfast, head to the pool for cocktails, then its more champagne as you watch the sunset from your private terrace. Dine on the cliff-top terrace or inside if it ever gets chilly. The two swimming pools are surrounded by comfy, over-sized loungers and a pool bar that serves delicious cocktails and light meals. The gym at Grace Santorini is equipped with the latest Kinesis Technogym.
Doing very little comes highly recommended but there are optional water-sports, excursions, sightseeing and walks to be enjoyed as well. During September and October it is possible to visit the nearby vineyards and we recommend a visit to the church, Agios Iannis Katiforis, only steps away from the hotel.
The views from Grace Santorini extend to the islands of Thirasia, Palaia and Nea Kameni in the centre of the Caldera. The islands were formed when a volcano sank into the sea in 1500 BC.
