The main streets of Polis offer plenty of traditional Cypriot restaurants, though the town is much more low-key than it’s more vibrant neighbour, Paphos. Explore its markets and dip in and out of its selection of shops as you amble its tranquil streets. Located on Chrysochous Bay, quiet Polis offers easy access to the beautiful Akamas peninsula nature reserve. Stroll along picturesque trails, enjoy wonderful views of the bay and visit the Baths of Aphrodite, a natural bath that, legend has it, was fit for the Goddess herself.
