Quito- 3 nights

Before venturing into the Amazon, explore the historic city of Quito from your base at the Plaza Grande, a luxurious boutique hotel in the heart of the characterful old town. Further afield, among your inclusive tours, the highlights could include a day trip to the mountain village of Otavalo: here, you’ll come across llamas and alpacas and experience the bustling markets, bursting with arts and crafts from colourful alpaca pashminas to intricately decorated pots.
