Itinerary details

Istanbul

4 nightsIstanbul

Your Turkish journey begins in the capital, Istanbul, where you’ll stay at the glamorous Four Seasons Bosphorus, a former 18th-century Ottoman palace which sits right on the waterfront.

Included in your holiday is a private cruise on the Bosphorus in a luxury yacht, taking in the dazzling sights from the water. You’ll also get acquainted with the city on private tours of its Ottoman, Byzantine and Imperial landmarks, from the iconic Hagia Sophia mosque and Blue Mosque to the Hippodrome (the stadium of ancient Byzantium), 15th-century palaces and museums full of ornate treasures. Also unmissable is a stroll through the famous Grand Bazaar to find some unique souvenirs.

Other options during your stay include taking to the skies for a scenic helicopter ride over the city, experiencing a private concert in the atmospheric 6th-century Basilica Cistern, and being special guests of a celebrity chef in their home, tucking into a gourmet Turkish meal.

In between all that sightseeing, you’ll get to pamper yourself in a traditional 16th-century Turkish hammam.

Cappadocia, Turkey

3 nightsCappadocia

Your next stop is Cappadocia, where you’ll explore the beautiful valleys on foot and float serenely over the moon-like rock formations, houses, churches and caves in a hot air balloon - a perfect way to experience this stunning region. You will also visit one of Cappadocia’s many underground cities and wander around local villages with expert guides. Along the way, discover the ancient local art of pottery making and see Byzantine art.

While you’re in Cappadocia, additional experiences could include tasting the renowned wines of one of the earliest wine-making regions in the world, followed by a private dinner overlooking the valley, and watching whirling dervishes, accompanied by musicians, at a colourful and spiritual ceremony.

Your hotel here is Argos, in the heart of Cappadocia, which occupies the site of an ancient monastery and offers a taste of local history in luxurious style.

Bodrum Peninsula, Turkey

3 nightsBodrum Peninsula

Last but not least, head to the Bodrum Peninsula and the gorgeous Six Senses Kaplankaya, which is perched on a hillside, surrounded by olive groves and cypresses, with stunning views over the Aegean. It has one of the biggest and most impressive spas we've ever seen, complete with a salt grotto, a crystal steam room and a Finnish sauna, and also offers delicious fresh seafood - and you can toast your holiday with a sunset cocktail or two at the beach bar.

You will have two days at leisure to make the most of the hotel's facilities and explore the surrounding area, including fascinating archaeological sites such as the temples of Apollo and Artemis.
