B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa

Location: Zurich | Switzerland

Price guide: £££££ £100-£200 per person per night

In the 19th century the Hurlimann Brewery was the largest beer producer in Switzerland, and now its original shell gives the cool B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa its hip, post-industrial aesthetic, thanks to a whitewashed façade, wooden beer crates for tables and exposed brick chimneys. A cool, contemporary design, combined with rooftop thermal baths and an authentic heritage, makes B2 Boutique a unique luxury hotel in Zurich.
Perfect forCouples will love the trendy and friendly vibe of this Zurich bolt-hole, and wellness-fiends are well-catered for, too.
In the knowYou’ll be looked after by a Guest Ambassador at B2 Boutique: whoever greets you will remain your point of contact throughout your stay.

Hotel Overview

Ensconced on a hillside 1.5km west of Zurich’s city centre.

Rooms at B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa

The overall thrust of the design is Nordic minimalist: think stripped oak floors, sleek bathrooms and Tom Dixon hanging lamps. The junior suites have spacious living areas and open-plan bathrooms; Hurlimann suites are split-level with free-standing baths and an outdoor area.

Food and facilities

The star of the show is the sumptuous rooftop hot tub which affords panoramic vistas of the city, while down in the old brewery’s cellar you’ll find an extensive network of Roman baths. Another attractive element of B2 Boutique is its elegant library, towering 11 metres from floor to ceiling and filled with 33,000 books. There’s no elaborate restaurant at B2 Boutique, but the snack bar in the hotel lobby lounge is where to taste Swiss Hinkelstein cheese, beef tartar and tapas dishes, washed down with some local wines or Hurlimann beer.

Activities at B2 Boutique Hotel + Spa

Luxuriate in the hotel’s thermal baths after a busy day exploring the sights of Zurich. Art-lovers are sure to be impressed by Kunsthaus, Switzerland’s premier art gallery, while Zuri-West is where to go for trendy bars, clubs and restaurants.
