Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

Le Taha'a by Pearl Resorts sits on the islet of Motu Tautau, with the island of Taha’a to one side and Bora Bora on the other.

Rooms at Le Taha’a by Pearl Resorts

The eco-chic overwater suites and beach villas at Le Taha’a echo their environment, and are designed in a traditional Polynesian style, with pandanus thatched roofs, bamboo walls, Marquesan cloths and coral straight from the lagoon. Beach villas blend into the tropical backdrop, perched on the edge of the white-sand beach and each with their own plunge pool, garden and thatched cabana for private meals. You'll love the understated, barefoot luxury feel to the place.

Private decks in the overwater suites offer amazing views and steps down into the water tempt regular swims in the lagoon - our favourite way to wake up in the morning.

Food & Drink

Set high in the treetops, Le Hawaiki Nui is the main restaurant, where you can start the day with French pastries and tropical fruits alongside views of the lagoon. After nightfall, take in some Polynesian fire-dancing, folklore and traditional music as Tahitian dishes and delicacies are served up.

Experience a gourmet dinner of French-Polynesian fusion cuisine at Ohiri, while at Titiraina, which is directly on the beach, you can enjoy a relaxed lunch with your feet in the sand. We just love the traditional poisson cru, a salad of raw tuna marinated with vegetables, lime juice and freshly-squeezed coconut milk - it's delicious!

Facilities

Unwind in style in the Tavai Spa, which is nestled in tropical gardens, surrounded by bamboo trees, and offers a range of tempting massages and body treatments which are inspired by traditional Polynesian techniques and use products such as the signature monoi oil.

Activities at Le Taha’a by Pearl Resorts

The calm, clear waters of the lagoon beckon for snorkelling, kayaking, wake-boarding and diving, as well as romantic sunset cruises, while the resort’s palm-framed tennis courts are there for anyone eager to work up an appetite. Go on a jeep tour, visit local villages, or take to the air in a helicopter for fantastic aerial views.
