BB Sapa Resort & Spa

BB Sapa Resort & Spa is nestled in pretty gardens in a beautiful setting in north-western Vietnam, up in the Hoang Lien Mountains, and close to the Chinese border.

Wake up to see the mists roll over Indochina’s highest mountain, with a kaleidoscope of alpine flowers in the distance, and resident goats munching in the gardens below. The rooms and suites have large balconies or terraces to make the most of the breathtaking views and alpine air.

Inside, the feeling of space continues thanks to the high ceilings and polished wooden floors, whilst the crisp white bed linens contrast with the bright fabrics of the surrounding hill tribes. For families and groups there are Family Studios with interconnected rooms.

The cuisine here is alpine, served with a twist. Sitting around a roaring fire at the centre of the restaurant, which evokes the feel of an alpine chalet, share delicious cheese fondue, perfect after a day of trekking, as well as Vietnamese and Cambodian specialities, fresh seafood, and western cuisine. The restaurant has floor-to-ceiling windows, or you can also dine on the terrace to make the most of the spectacular views over Mount Fansipan. 

During the day, you can get light snacks by the huge indoor pool, and you can also enjoy barbecues in the garden. Head to the bar for French-inspired sweet treats such as crepes, as well as wide selection of drinks from cocktails to mulled wine infused with Sapa spices. 

Indulge in a luxurious spa session - the spa is simply gorgeous, and offers unique treatments such as a herbal bath featuring health-giving herbs and bark from the surrounding mountains, or try the signature Thai massage, which incorporates reflexology.

The pool is a lovely spot to swim, or relax on the poolside terrace, while there is also a fitness centre and a tennis court. 

The gateway to the Tonkinese Alps, and  filled with an abundance of orchids, this resort is heaven for anyone who loves trekking, mountain biking, or just taking in the stunning alpine scenery. Take a steep walk downhill to the village of Cat Cat, winding your way through bamboo stands, before seeing hill tribes weaving brocade and selling their colourful handicrafts.

Back at the village of Sapa, there’s a beautiful waterfall to see, and back at the resort, as well as the kids club, children will love the rabbit garden and the gang of friendly goats.
