Hotel Overview

Where

Krabi is on the West Coast of Thailand, with the Andaman Sea forming a unique lagoon between the East of Phuket, and the Thai mainland.

Rooms at The Tubkaak

Every aspect of The Tubkaak rooms are at one with nature, allowing you to zone out the rest of the world, and totally unwind. The interiors are simple and contemporary, with subtle foliage designs that creep their way over the walls, along with lustrous tropical wood, and zingy colours that help to bring the outside in. To get even closer to nature, immerse yourself in your sunken stone bath in your open air bathroom, and tune in to the soothing sights and sounds of the tropical gardens. Sea View suites are just a few steps away from the calming rhythms of the ocean, whilst the stunning Tubkaak Suites have infinity pools that melt into the surroundings.

Food and facilities

Classic Thai and European dishes are served at the beachside Arundina restaurant, with pontoon tables that appear to float on the serene lake beneath them. Enjoy the fresh and fragrant flavours, surrounded by water-lillies, lanterns, and all the romance that The Tubkaak has to offer.

Activities at The Tubkaak

The emphasis at The Tubkaak is very much on relaxing within the natural environment, but its location in Krabi means that you’re free to explore many different aspects of Thailand. At the resort itself there is a spa with hot and cold plunge pools, with yoga sessions on offer. More active guests can play golf, go mountain biking, or take to unbelievably clear waters for snorkelling, and kayaking. Opposite, the Ko Kong archipelago is so close that you’ll be tempted to try and swim out to it! Instead, you can take Longtail boat tour around the islands, falling in love with a variety of iconic beaches. Back on dry land, The Tubkaak is set amidst a stunning nature reserve where you can wander amongst butterflies and monkeys, and take a dip in one of the stunning rainforest pools.
