Hotel Overview

Sense of Place

The St Regis Langkawi has a prime private beachfront location, overlooking the Andaman Sea.

Rooms at The St Regis Langkawi

An island escape with bounds of New York sophistication, The St Regis is the first all-suite luxury resort in the archipelago and has luxurious rooms and private overwater villas. Each suite, built by a San Francisco-based architectural firm and kitted out by a UK-based design specialist, is distinct, with gorgeous views, lofty ceilings, marble bathrooms, dark wood floors and a subtle island-inspired palette of creams, sapphires, sea-foam green and gold.

With floor-to-ceiling windows, you can spend hours gazing out towards the turquoise waters, but if you want some cultural variety take a look at your suite’s walls, adorned with ornate gold lanterns and striking paintings by esteemed local artists.

Food & Drink

The hotel’s signature restaurant, L’Orangerie, offers a worldly menu of modern French cuisine with Asian and Mediterranean flavours. Specialities here include lobster omelette for breakfast and Otak-Otak seafood moose in banana leaves and creamy lobster bisque for dinner.

Artistic in every detail, from its enchanting overwater dining concept to its 60 grand teak columns, the Kayuputi restaurant reinvents traditional Asian dishes with a menu of lamb merguez with harissa sauce and sour cherry sorbet with mango maki rolls alongside inventive tapas and beautifully-crafted entrées.

Facilities

Home to an impressive oasis-like pool and a massive spa, this hotel is certainly a destination for relaxation. Enjoy a leisurely swim in the cooling waters or lounge under the tropical sun before being pampered and preened in the spa with treatments featuring an aromatic blend of native Malaysian flower extracts, including hibiscus, jasmine and frangipani.

If you don’t want to abandon your fitness regime, the hotel has an Athletic Club with strength training equipment.

Activities at The St Regis Langkawi
