Each charming tree house accommodates two people, with comfortable beds and ensuite bathrooms, and are ideal for couples looking for privacy.

Food and facilities

Called the Feeding Tree, the hillside cafe, with its spectacular views of the sea, is surrounded by trees with squirrels, birds and occasional snakes slithering through. The cafe’s set menu consists of locally-sourced and locally-inspired dishes, such as garlic butter prawns and ayam pansuh (chicken cooked in bamboo) but for a sunset dinner, try the delicious barbecue and buffet on the beach. There is a beautiful natural rock pool and an appealing private beach that will make you feel like you're on your very own desert island.

Activities at Permai Rainforest Resort

Divided into land and water activities, your days can be filled with courses taken by trained instructors in jungle survival, native handicrafts and sea canoeing- or go trekking in the rainforest, or if you prefer, explore the beachfront location with stand-up paddling, dolphin watching and some fantastic snorkelling.
