Hotel Overview

In Seminyak, on the coast of southern Bali.

Rooms at The Amala

The rooms are sumptuously designed, with elegant yet minimalist decor to create a serene setting. All offer 24-hour butler service, a complimentary minibar of healthy drinks and hand-made bath products made from original blend ingredients like ginger green tea. Spa Villas have plunge pools, while Pool Villas and Amala Residences have private pools.

Food and facilities

All guests have access to the outdoor Amala pool, which features a ‘Colloidal Silver’ mineral water filtration system, and there’s also a library and boutique on-site. The restaurant, Bamboo, sits adjacent to the pool and offers meals throughout the day. Organic and raw foods are used wherever possible, and alcohol is available though not openly advertised – the mocktails and juices make for a delicious, healthy alternative.

Activities at The Amala

Soothe your soul and reenergise your body at The Amala, equipped with an exclusive spa which focuses on ancient Asian medicine and Western holistic philosophies. The spa therapists carefully assess guests’ health, fitness and lifestyle and tailor suitable wellness programs and treatments. These will always begin with a glass of lime, cucumber and basil, followed by a foot bath. There’s also the wellness studio which offers yoga classes, martial arts, meditation and pranayama.
