Hotel Overview

Where

Puri Ganesha is on Bali’s north-west coast, 3.5 hours from the airport. Although the journey is long, it’s well worth it for the remote location, and invigorating drive past clove plantations, volcanic lakes, and mountains.

Rooms at Puri Ganesha

With just four villas, no TV, and no wifi in the rooms, Puri Ganesha couldn’t be more peaceful. Each of the beachfront cocoons is east-facing – perfect for some morning yoga, or a swim in your private twelve metre pool. They also have large private gardens, and semi al-fresco bathrooms, whilst inside you’ll find Diana’s hand-picked antiques and Balinese art-works.

Food and facilities

Puri Ganesha takes a really pioneering approach to food: renowned for Diana’s amazing raw-food menu, and with pretty much everything locally sourced and organic. Don’t worry if you’re not on a health-kick though, as they’ll happily prepare you an indulgent Balinese feast, or picnic for the beach.

Activities at Puri Ganesha

Forget television; you’ll spend your days at Puri Ganesha playing beach football with the local kids, snorkelling and diving in the coral or having a Balinese massage. If you want to get to know the local communities, the owners can take you to visit the surrounding schools, farms, and fishermen with whom they work with closely.
